Realteam Sailing Director, co-Skipper
Date of birth : 30.05.1980
Country : Switzerland

Born in Morges, Jérôme Clerc has been sailing since he was very young. During his studies in architecture at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, while working as a sailing coach during internships at sea and on Lake Leman and as an assistant ski instructor in Zermatt, he chaired the EPFL Sailing Team of which he is also the skipper. With his Master’s degree in hand in 2008, he became administrator of the Geneva Regatta Training Centre (CER), where he will remain until 2012. That year, he led his amateur D35 team to a stunning victory in the Bol d’Or Mirabaud and the Vulcain Trophy, just two years after having formed it. On the strength of these successes, the professional Realteam Sailing team was born under the leadership of Esteban Garcia in 2013. Putting aside his profession as an architect, Jérôme has since then devoted himself to managing the team and its projects.
